Frequently asked questions
Does OpsInfinity issue the ISO 27001 certificate?
Certificates are issued only by accredited certification bodies after an independent audit. OpsInfinity prepares you for that audit and can help you choose a certification body.
What does the certification audit involve?
Certification has two stages. Stage 1 reviews your ISMS documentation; Stage 2 checks that the controls actually operate. Surveillance audits follow in later years.
Is a penetration test required for ISO 27001?
The standard does not name penetration testing directly, but auditors expect evidence that technical vulnerabilities are identified and managed. A recent VAPT report is the usual way to show this.
