Cloud Pentesting
Cloud Penetration Testing for AWS, Azure, and GCP
Most cloud breaches start with a misconfiguration, not a software bug. We review and attack your cloud setup to find public data, risky permissions, and paths to take over the account.
Cloud Pentesting at a glance
Cloud penetration testing is a security review and attack simulation of your AWS, Azure, or GCP account that finds misconfigured storage, over-permissive access roles, and exposed services before an attacker does.
- Who it is for
- Teams running production workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially those preparing for SOC 2, ISO 27001, or enterprise customer reviews
- Starting price
- Quoted after a free discovery call
- Typical timeline
- Scoped after a free discovery call, based on the number of cloud accounts, regions, and services in use
Why choose OpsInfinity
Cloud providers secure the platform; you are responsible for how you configure it. We combine a configuration review against provider best practices with hands-on testing of what an attacker could actually reach.
- Configuration review against provider security best practices
- Identity and access (IAM) privilege escalation testing
- Checks for public storage, snapshots, and exposed services
- Fixes your DevOps team can apply as infrastructure as code
What we deliver
Clear, practical outputs your team can act on — not vague promises.
Our process
A structured approach from discovery through delivery and support.
Scope
We agree accounts, regions, and services, and set up read-only review access.
Review
We check configuration across identity, storage, networking, logging, and compute.
Attack
We test exposed services and attempt privilege escalation within agreed limits.
Report and retest
We report with priorities and fixes, then confirm remediation.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need permission from AWS, Azure, or GCP?
AWS, Azure, and GCP let customers test their own resources without prior approval, provided testing follows each provider's published rules. We plan the engagement within those rules.
What access do you need?
A read-only audit role is enough for the configuration review. Attack testing uses separately agreed credentials and limits, and all access is removed when the engagement ends.
Do you test Kubernetes clusters?
Managed Kubernetes clusters such as EKS, AKS, and GKE can be included, covering cluster configuration, role-based access, and exposed workloads.
